GBA version should be my favourite due to it looking better, having more tracks and having 4 player. But i think ill go with the SNES version, there's just something about it that will always put it above the GBA version.

      As for the N64 version...

GBA version - 4 player is much more fun than 2 player on the SNES.

I'm gonna be unpopular and vote for the N64 version, the SNES game has dated badly and the GBA version was just plain ****e.

SNES version, I liked the tight handling of the original far more than it's predecessors. Also, the 'battle mode' tracks were genius, particularly the first track which required genuine strategy between two equally-matched players.

I have fond memories of the game, they were halcyon days.

                    SNES for me.

Just felt a tighter game all-round IMO.

                      1. GBA Version. 4 player update of the SNES game with better graphics and new courses too. Portable and possibly my most played game ever. Haven't done it myself but would a GBA player with 4 SNES style hori pads be the ultimate mario kart?

                      2. N64 version. Not perfect but the best ever console racer IMO. The wiggle the stick to get the different coloured smoke boost was inspired, and frankly brilliant in my eyes.

                      3. SNES version. Dated badly in my eyes. The half a screen even in one player, the lack of 4 players and I really don't like the whole mode 7 look of it. I am getting ready to be shouted at, but I don't care.

It's not the BEST version, but without a shadow of a doubt my favourite is the N64.

4 player and it was released whilst I was at university.

I can accept the other versions may be better for most, but for me, It's the daddy.

does the GBA player allow 4 people to play GBA version with four people??!

that would be the greatest thing ever, and i would buy the necessary bits today if that were the case...

do you have 4 people split screen? or do you need 4 cubes, 4 copies of the GBA version and 4 TVs?

                          please elaborate

Apart from player 1, each of the other competitors would need a GBA of there own connected to the link port on the GBA Player. This would allow for a selection of only four tracks and only Yoshi would be available. If each person had a copy of MK:SC plugged into the appropriate GBA more tracks and all characters can be used. You have to remember that the player is just one set of GBA hardware is just the same as playing the game on a normal GBA.
