the best place to import a Japanese console from

I ordered my GC from NCSX they were good when I was in England. Or e-Bay might be a good bet. Play-asia don`t ship anymore to the U.K . Maybe Yesasia is good never had anything from them though. Expect import charges where ever if you don`t get any think yourself lucky I guess.

Just had a look & everything (apart from Sony PS3 & PSP stuff) appears to still ship to the UK.

I'm bolloxed if they have stopped as I'm not getting my 360 shooters then.

I can second Yakumo's recommendation.

Both my original fatty DS & Wii came from Mark, i still remember him queuing up at an obscenely early hour to pick up his wii & then mine from toys r us. Something which i was eternally gratefull for.

As for play asia, they still ship everything to the uk. The only thing they won't ship is sony products seeing as sony threw a bitch fit at them.

But strangely I forgot about this and manged to pick up Project Diva and Project Diva 2 from them and got them shipped to the UK, which is rather odd as they are PSP games.

does it just not let you, or will they cancel when they realise where its headed? i've never tried, but might, just to see what happens.

edit: K-on doesnt have the 'not for UK' thing on it either.

I'm still waiting to work out a price since none is confirmed as of yet. It may be cheaper to buy on from the likes of PlayAsia as well. Then again I sold a few Wiis on the day of release cheaper than they did.

I'm going to have to have a scurry around and see what the sitch is with the various import sites. If it's region free I could be tempted as it's my B-Day in Oct so that should help to fund it and it's not that hectic an Xmas rush this year.
