Not sure console compatibility would have much bearing on this type of hardware as the $500:00 price tag means means it's probably going a little too far for things like Ace Combat & HAWX.

It may be a little more suited to something along the lines of Il-2 Sturmovik but I'd imagine that if people were serious enough to be paying $500 for a controller they'd probably be playing it on a PC anyway.

Looks cool. I have no actual use for it but it's almost worth $500 just to fondle it. Almost.

Some years ago I dropped around 300€ on the Cougar (F-16 HOTAS replica) and it is one of the best things ever when used with Falcon 4.0...the A-10 is my favourite aircraft and I was beginning to miss really good flight sims. I guess Thrustmaster will receive more of my money soon.

Is it bad that this just makes me want a new Mechwarrior PC game?

                Only £340 at Amazon.

It does look like a solid piece of kit though (apart from the joystick base/plate which looks a bit thin)

It's designed to be screwed onto a base/table.

but consider this one has metal flip switches - no cheap plastic like with the Steel Battalion controller

Just wanted to emphasise that part...

Looks very shiny though, I'm a sucker for peripherals, it's probably a good thing I have no money atm.
