Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands review

I feel greatly upset by this review, based on what it details I'm not sure I like the direction the field of opinion on titles is going in. Forgotten Sands is a decent fun title and I find it ridiculous that the reviewer has gone through the game and scored it the way he has, I mean Forgotten Sands is not the best game ever but it's not the worst either, I'd say it's 100% worth a 6/10 and that he's given it a... oh...

Good review. I think it's more or less spot on. Personally I'd rate in higher but I'm utterly biased.

I don't agree with a lot of the review and I'm surprised there's no mention of bugs which were the biggest annoyance in the game for me and reading on the first play thread that was problem for many others as well.

I also can't help but feel the review is pointlessly late as the First Play thread has been inactive for a while and the game is pretty much at bargain bin status now. I would have thought most people by now would have decided to either buy it or not.

The review is pretty much spot on.

Apart from the base PoP traversal it's a mediocre game at best. There is no flow or grace to the levels design which feels very cut and pasted. It's as playable as the average license game but just as forgettable.

            Filler/10.

I think that is a good review, there is a typo though

              jack of all rades.

I'd agree with the score, the game despite being of a reasonably high quality for a film [release] tie in, I got the distinct impression it didn't quite have the same love and care as ANY of the other titles have had so far.

I enjoyed the game very much but even right down to the basic plot it felt very much like a rehash of the same game I played in 2003 with some additional moves.
