Not buying a game because of bugs

The thing is, by the time i get round to playing or buying a game that is riddled with bugs, a patch is usually out by then......... I tend to buy games, and shelve them until I get the time to play them. Like the spectrum warrior, time is not the luxury that it once was........ as life gets in the way. But nothing is going to stop me buying Fallout New Vegas as I love Fallout 3 so much that I am craving Christmas, when I eventually have enough time to dedicate to the game.

One game that was bugged that I brought was WWF No Mercy on the N64, I think it stopped me saving or something. I brought the game, found the bug, returned it, got another one which was likely to be bugged as well as it came at roughly the same time as the previous batch (it was Christmas and I wanted my new gaming fix) luckily for me it was is full working order........

I have a high tolerance for bugs I guess, especially if it's a great game like Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (and by god was that game buggy at release).

I'd already have New Vegas if I didn't have so much other stuff to get through right now.

I think i might have to return my copy of new vegas to game as im at the 40 hour mark now & not once has the game crashed on me . considering the reports of how buggy it is, i can't understand why mine has escaped them all?
