Japanese DS Puzzle games.

Hello people I am looking to track down some japanese puzzle games for the DS. Things like wordsearches, sudoku, numbers, crosswords etc are welcome.
Anything more intelligence based rather than outright skill if you get what I mean.

These are for my wife as she has completed all of the brain training games.

Try to get her hooked on Professor Layton. All the puzzles should be right up her alley.

As for traditional puzzles, Picross is always good.

Err Japanese puzzle games professor layton in japanese is terrifying. I tried the demo of number 4 & i couldnt even do the first one lol.

But yeah in english thats a great series.

My recommendation is for suujin taisen, a very easy to learn but addictive puzzle game.

Didn't that come out in Europe or the US as something else? Or on DSiWare? Or something?

No you are correct, it came out on dsiware but as a cut down version of the full game, can't remember it's english title though.

suujin taisen Number battles sure as hell gets my vote. It is a great game just a shame it was hidden away on DSiware

- puzzle series vol. 5 - slitherlink
