Has anyone signed up to this? I'm asking as I'm a bit confused as to how it works.

Currently here is my situation I have a sub for 14months (got last month), brother 1's sub has just finished and brother 2's sub will be finishing within 3months. From what I understand if I was to become the main account holder my 14 month sub would transfer over, so when I add my brothers they will also get 14 month sub, however what happens to the 3 months that brother 2 still has on their account?

Also I assume I will have to pay something on top because a 14 month sub does not cost £69.99, so how can I work out how much extra needs to be paid?

Any sub you assign to an account that is currently valid for Gold just adds an extension to the period. So it should just add 12 months to your current sub if you used it. Things to note are all profiles must be on the same 360 before you apply the Family Pack memberships (but they then can be taken off or recovered to be used on other 360s) and only the main account holder can purchase XBLA points (but can donate them to the other members in the pack).

so basically we would all have 12 months with the family pack and i would have an extra 13months and brother 2 would have an extra 3 months?
