Games to play at Xmas with group of friends?

For the last few years it's been Wii Bowling, SceneIt (360), and SingStar.

I'm looking for something new. Recommend away!

Oh, I don't have the room for Kinect, sadly

Smash Bros is always good for some family laughs.

Depends if your friends are gamers or not.

If they're not, then Just Dance is a blast. For multiplayer, it still seems to be the one to get over Dance Central (better line up of songs too imo).

The original is dirt cheap and the sequel is only ?20.

If you have a good amount of disposable money, then Rock Band always is a winner with my friends.

Yeah, I should of stated that I don't have room to accommodate Kinect I want it too.

My living room is wide enough, but with the TV unit and the sofa, both which are deep in width, I'm left with about 4 feet from soft to TV.

If you've got a PS3 I'd totally recommend Sports Champions - it's ace! Especially the bowls, disc golf or table tennis - ooh and the challenge modes!!. Look. Just get it, ok?

Can be a bit awkward with family members.

Wii Party! Has loads of different game modes, which all has you competing in minigames. Some modes are like the board game in Mario Party, some has you playing memory inbetween the minigames. There's even a mode to check how good a match you and your friend/girlfriend is. Loads of fun. Easy to play even for people who have never touched a controller before. Comes with a Wiimote in the box at standard retail price.

                          Dance Central.

Trivial Pursuit is pretty decent. We played it last year when we went to my mums for Xmas and everyone enjoyed it.

As a bonus, you can get the double pack with Burnout Paradise dirt cheap for double win.

I'd also(somewhat predictably) recommend Blur. 4 player split screen does lack the online mods, but it's still great fun.

Band Bros. is amazing if you have everything needed. It's in English now too, so Nan's and Grandad's need not to have jammers this year.
                              Kept you waiting, huh?
