    Bizarre Creations set to close

Someone on GAF has just said that Bizzare Creations have been closed. Sad news if true

The PGR series were the best racing games I've ever played, each one perfectly nailed the balance between arcade and realism by brilliantly combining the best elements of each. Blur was alot of fun too. Here's to hoping MS get alot of them on board for their new PGR game.

Hearing the same from another source, trying to get in touch with someone I know that used to work there, see if he's heard anything.

They deliver games on time, right? Get them over to Polyphony. :-p

              Sad news though.

I bet Bungie are prepping for a hundred press questions along the lines of 'Are you concerned that...'

PGR is brilliant, and MSR possibly even more so. It would be something if Sega signs them for MSR2. Believe.

Never happen. It wouldn't sell because they couldn't put Call of Duty on the front of the box.

I just can't believe this.. damned Activision. Bizarre are a great studio, they're output is fantastic and they're a studio that I would've loved to have worked at someday.

                          This is just terrible news.

Why did Activision buy them in the first place? For only to close them down. What happens with geometry wars. Hopefully Microsoft bail them out as PGR 5 needs to be made by a decent developer.

very sad news. Such a great studio and ive loved all there games, great memories of sitting on msr at cristmas for 2 days straight after the long wait for it , and sitting on PGR3 for 24hrs solid online with the top gun soundtrack playing, amazing stuff.

I hope everyone at the studio find positions with someone who appreciates there talent. If i was the MD there, i would go to sony first.
