How should Eurocom follow up Goldeneye 007?

It says at the end of the credits that James Bond will return, what film do people think they should turn into a game next, or do you think they should make an all new Bond game?

I think Tomorrow Never Dies, Dr No, Casino Royale, Goldfinger or You Only Live Twice would be good and/or fitting (it'd ne nice if Tomorrow Never Dies was finally turned into the Goldeneye sequel it should have been). I fear all the films already turned into games will be off limits though...

I don't think that they meant anything in particular by that line. All movies and most games end with that same line. It's just a tradition.

Providing you mean the new version, Casino Royal actualy already has a game, as Quantum of Solace was actualy both of the Daniel Craig movies in one game, was pretty good too actualy (prefered it to the developers most recent game anyway).

They could redo the roger moore ones and make them more serious, and they could have you chased by Jaws as he bashes through walls and stuff.

I couldn't remember if either of his films had been turned into games!

I always rated Timothy Dalton's Bond films. My other nominees would probably be Goldfinger, Tomorrow Never Dies, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever. Even some of the really silly stuff would be great to see, like Moonraker – I'd love to see that single level from the original GE made into an entire game.

From Russia With Love is a really brilliant film – so much more intelligent and understated than pretty much every film that followed it. Would be good to see that remade for a second time.

I would really like them, though, to remake them as period pieces, with authentic weapons, clothing and gadgets. Although I really enjoyed the re-telling of GoldenEye and respect the decisions they made I would have liked to see a more realistic version of the sets from the film, doing what Rare couldn't manage at the time.

Might be fun to see a re-make of The World Is Not Enough by the same team, with the huge strides they've made in the last ten years it could be great. I've played through the original recently, but it paled by comparison to GE – unlike the recent remake!

Well the N64 Bond game said "James Bond will Return" and Rare never made another, I thought it was just kind of traditional for James Bond films to say that at the end, moreso if another one is already planned

How well has the Wii game sold? Enough for it to be worth their while to do another film?

It debuted about 37 in the UK All formats chart (the PS3 and 360 bond game from Bizarre Creations was 1 place lower)

So basically... bond would seemingly be out of favour atm with gamers?

Launching against Call of Duty probably had more to do with the poor sales of the PS3/360 game. And shooters generally don't sell that well on the Wii (as the Conduit showed).

I think people seem to missing the most important thing. That is, that whatever Bond ends up being done, GIVE IT TO EUROCOM!

Much kudos to them for what they managed with Goldeneye. But they already proved their talent for me with Dead Space Extraction. What a phenomenal title.

As for a title, why not give them the new book Devil May Care?

Probably because that will inevitably be made into a new film, so it'd make more sense for them to know the film was coming out.

Eurocom used to make some great games, just a shame they fell into a pool of licensed rubbish. but hey, I guess it pays the bills

So Dead Space and Goldeneye are licensed rubbish? More like quiet licensed brilliance.

Well I suppose as they've always done ports and IP work that was a bad choice of words.

it's just more of a shame that they don't make more good games when they clearly can.

Yeah, Dead Space Extraction was class too, I definitely preferred it to the original.

I was thinking of a remake of The World is Not Enough too, but I'd forgotten to mention it. I'll have to dig out the original, haven't played it in ages...
