    Recommendations please for young and old!

    Well to my amazement my mother has asked for a DS for christmas!
    Thinking of the xl for her but wanted to throw in a couple of games. She has never shown any interest in gaming so I was thinking of Brain trainng and a Layton game.
    Any others..?

    Also is a Wii suitable for 4/5 year olds? My sister is considering getting one for her two kids (I am assuming my brother in law is in on this really )

    Recommendations here? Is there anything but shovelware for this age group?

    Picross and Picross 3D are both superb. Also some of hidden puzzle games like Mystery Case Files are pretty good as well

    Warioware DIY and Touch are both ace
