    Rock Band DLC

Figured this would be best under it's own thread, rather than the actual RB3 one.

Next weeks DLC is, as we all knew, Billy Joel!

    ? ?Big Shot? X
    ? ?Captain Jack?
? ?It?s Still Rock and Roll To Me?
    ? ?Movin? Out (Anthony?s Song)? X
? ?Only the Good Die Young? X
    ? ?Piano Man?
    ? ?Pressure?
    ? ?Say Goodbye to Hollywood?
    ? ?The Entertainer?
    ? ?The Stranger?
? ?We Didn?t Start the Fire?
    ? ?You May Be Right?

As usual, X denotes pro guitar and bass.

In a trend, I find the lack of pro guitar a let down. I'm trying to stick exclusively to pro guitar stuff, but there are a few others I'll probably pick up; Piano Man, The Entertainer, It's Still Rock & Roll.... looking at it like that, good chance I'll end up with everything We Didn't Start The Fire will be a great laugh vocally.

Xmas songs incoming. Probably won't bother myself, but I'll YouTube the pro guitar tracks just in case.

    Anaïs – “Peut-Être une Angine”
    BB Brunes – “Dis-Moi” X
    BAP – “Verdamp Lang Her”
Wir sind Helden – “Nur ein Wort”
    Linea 77 – “Fantasma”
    Litfiba – “Proibito”
Caesars – “Jerk It Out” X

I've really slowed down on DLC the last few weeks. I've only "learnt" around 5 to 10 pro guitar songs, getting more right now seems a bit of a waste of money as all I want to play it Battlefield BC2 rather than practice on the Mustang

Some sales of older packs this week, up to Jan 11th:

            Oasis Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
            The Police Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
            The Offspring Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
Nine Inch Nails Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
            Jimmy Buffett Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
All That Remains Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
            Evanescence Pack 01 – 240 Points (was 440)
Rush Moving Pictures (album) – 440 Points (was 880)
The Cars (album) – 680 Points (was 1200)
            Weezer Pack 02 – 240 Points (was 440)

Typically I've got all the ones I'd want, but I may have to check out what's in The Cars pack.

They've Tweeted it's Linkin Park as the new DLC next week, but no more info yet.

Who? LOL, never heard of them. YouTube here I come....

Guess we've been spoilt since launch. 3 titles is sparse by what we've had recently. I'm quite happy with a 3 track of a band like this [who I've never heard of] if it was accompanied by a wide mixture of single tracks. Hoping with their recent sale this won't be the state of things going forwards, but far too early to start worrying just yet

They are the singer of Slipknot's 'other' band. Good no nonsense rock, and could be good for vocals. Not a bad song selection either.

                        “Blue Jean”
                        “Fame”
                        “Modern Love” X
                        “Young Americans”
                        “Ziggy Stardust” X

David Bowie 5 pack next week. May get Ziggy. Shame none of them "easy crowd pleases" like Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes. It's at times like this I'm thankful I have the Mustang, on which strumming is fun

Not checked out last weeks songs yet, but have made a bit more of an effort to learn a few of the songs I already have.

You'll need to buy Train in Vain separately if you want the complete album as it went up for download ages ago.
