PS3 music/rhythm games

Does the PS3 or PSN have any good music/rhythm games.

I am talking something like Frequency, Elite Beat Agents, Audiosurf

Just have a hankering for a good music game and i have had it with Guitar Hero/Rockband

It's not so much rhythm but there's a great demoscene slightly musically orientated piece on the psn called .detuned, I highly recommend it as it's a cheap purchase and it's nice to support demoscene and .theprodukkt too.

You could just watch a video of it on youtube though and then you've seen it all. I put it on every now and again on the ps3 to get the tune stuck in my head (and everyone else's in my flat)

You've of course got Lumines which is great although I can't sadly think of anything else, as most of Mizuguchi's games are being released for xbox 360 lately

Also I'm not sure if it's out yet but Auditorium was set to come out on ps3, and of course Everyday shooter is awesome.

Feel kinda bad that I haven't recommended anything that it actually a true rhythm action title, but games with a link between the game and music.

Here's to hoping Vib-Ribbon gets a re-release for ps3 Or that Matsuura makes a new game which is more muscially orientated.

I think most have been listed already to be fair, I'm a bit of a fan of .detune although as mentioned it doesn't quite fit in.

There's a few other downloadable games worth looking out...

They aren't exactly original but worth considering I suppose.

It's a little different but you may also want to consider something like Fret Nice, if you have one of those guitars your fed up with lying around you can use that to play if you want to.

There is a demo available so you can give it a try first.


Um Jammer Lammy is available as a download too as well as some other stuff that I'm more than likely forgetting at the moment.
