I haven't posted my spend on here since June, but have still been keeping a detailed record of what I spent. In my last post here I stated that I probably wouldn't get a 3DS. I did in the end ... I got it for a fairly good price just before the official price drop and it qualified for the Ambassador Program. I then spent a little more than I intended on picking up a few classic "DS" titles. That has been the bulk of my spend over the last few months.
I'm still anticipating a fairly quiet run-up to Xmas. I do have Fifa 12 on the way (bit of an impulse buy that will show in October's spend) and have pre-ordered Halo HD for November

Though I'm currently under my budget for the year, and have done a lot better than I expected, I had a closer look at my list [http://www.bordersdown.net/showthrea...1#post1792884] and worked out what kinds of games I spend money on. A bit surprised that less than two thirds of the games I got seemed worth it, I spent about a hundred quid on games I already own on other formats, and the solid gold games of the year that make it all worthwhile only came to about seventy quid. I'm also surprised that I spent under a hundred pounds on downloadable games, which I instinctively thought would be a lot more than that. Really informative for helping to make impulse decisions on what to buy; just need to work on a "Your Lifestyle Spend 2012" thread next year...!
