    Razer Switchblade

Surprised that there is no thread on this. Razer unveiled this concept gaming machine with a built in 7" screen and configurable keyboard at CES. Seems to be PC game orientated but with a portable slant. Looks pretty cool to me:

Yeah, it's a pretty sexy device. Lack of a mouse pad is a bit annoying (although it is touchscreen). Apparently it's using the latest gen atom, wouldn't surprise me if it's ion 2 as well

Tom's Hardware reports that Razer will launch the Switchblade in China in the near future. The device uses Intel's Oak Trail platform and a full version of Windows 7. No price or release date, no mention if the device will be available outside China.

Can't see it being released for less than ?400 really.

Yeah, it'll probably be way too expensive to be a direct competitor for handheld consoles. Still think it's pretty cool though.

The market this device is aiming to is completely different, not to mention it's only for China right now. It's a highly specialized notebook for online games, it will carve its own niche and won't touch current and future handhelds, being them consoles or smartphones.

Didn't Panasonic announced something pretty similar last year?

The Jungle, which has been confirmed dead last year or during the first months of 2011.
