I played Digital: A love Story over xmas. Excellent and short (2hrs).
I read up a bit over the last few weeks and http://vndb.org/ seems like a very comprehensive resource.
The wikipedia page will probably be your best source to find appropriate link unless we have a secret fan on here.
I'm not really interested in the Japanese anime side of visual novels and the hideous play lengths of most has stopped me playing the popular ones.

I just played this yesterday. It's really well written, and the recreation of the home computer scene from 1988 feels bizarrely convincing too. Great stuff.
I can't say I've played anything else like it, though...

I don't want to create a new topic just for this, but could anyone help me name a visual novel game I saw on the net some time ago?
I think it was inspired by Snatcher, a Sci-fi adventure with cyborgs and stuff. It featured anime style art and was probably from some small (maybe indie) developer. The developer might have been western too, can't really be sure. I also think it was fairly new game and it was in English. Sorry for the lack of details, but does anyone have any idea what it might be?Last edited by Guts; 16-01-2011, 18:36.
