DDP DOJ PS2 vs 360?

I recently purchased Dodonpachi DOJ PS2 version from the Trading folder - can anyone tell me what the difference is between this and the 360 version?

Is the 360 version worth a purchase on top of the PS2 version? If so, why?

It's an effing awful port on 360. I'd seriously not bother with it, especially as you have DoJ PS2 which is a fantastic port IMO.

Get DFK instead.

I bought & owned the 360 version since release but the terrible port meant it resided on my shelf & I kept going back to the far superior PS2 version until I finally decided to sell it as it was just gathering dust.

Can't think of anything the 360 version had that would make it a worthy purchase over the PS2 edition...unless you count the better 360 arcade sticks

If you have the PS2 version save your cash & put it towards the better 360 shooters like Ketsui or the upcoming DDP DFK extra disc

Whilst the PS2 version is the better port of vanilla DOJ, the 360 version contains Black Label too - a different game entirely. The 360 version is flawed but tbh most of the flaws are based on the menus and the interface rather than the actual game itself. There is a patch (finally) due on the 20th of this month that is meant to address all of the issues too.

Would agree that if money's an issue and you already have the Arika DOJ port then you'd be better off getting one of the other 360 titles, but DOJ:BL Extra is not a complete write-off.

It's not like you need another opinion in the mix, but to restate the obvious the 360 port is rats balls, for me mainly becuase of the bloody load times.

The newer DDP, which I've forgotten the full title of! Is ace though.

Another recommendation for sticking with the PS2 port.
