    Nintendo 3DS Launch Games

As the other 3DS thread is about to drown in price whining and other clutter, I thought it was about time to open a thread dedicated to the launch, and more specifically the launch games for the console.

    Confirmed European launch titles:
    • Super Street Fighter 4 3D Edition
    • Dead or Alive Dimensions
    • Nintendogs +Cats
    • PES 2011 3D

Titles expected in the launch window:
    • Asphalt 3D
    • Ridge Racer 3D
    • Driver Renegade
    • Steel Diver
    • Splinter Cell 3D
    • Rabbids Time Travel
    • Super Monkey Ball 3D
    • Battle of the Giants: Dinosaurs 3D

These are all I can think of right now. Shout if you know of any more.

So, what titles are you picking up with the console? Which title had you most hoped to see at launch?

The fact they didn't announce a launch line up at the conference really doesn't bode well for their confidence in the launch titles.

To be honest, I don't want to buy any of those titles in the OP.

Zelda is confirmed to be a near launch title? If so I can sleep a bit easier. As Europe seems to miss out on Professor Layton, this is almost the next best thing.

The fact they showed that crap submarine game also points to launch fail!

I thought that looked neat. Imagine turning around and using your 3DS as a telescope. Should be pretty immersive. Nice wave graphics too. I can see myself picking almost anything for it having seen the 3D effect in action.

Every console launch in my mind has been crap the last few times.. so I don't really mind

I'm going for Dead or Alive and Street Fighter :-)

                It's gonna be win.

Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is what they're calling Gollop's Tactics game now.

What use is a telescope when you're in a submarine?

                      Also worth noting this nugget.

"Using a service that will be provided after the hardware?s launch, Nintendo DSi and Nintendo DSi XL owners will be able to transfer games downloaded from the Nintendo DSi "

Reason why I never bought DSi/XL, wasn't sure if you would lose your DSi Ware games. Good to see you can transfer

Looking at faraway whales. And stars, when the time is right. Or you could use it as a PERISCOPE.

Is there a confirmed US launch list yet? Disappointed to see no UK Layton pre-June...

Quite an uninspired list of games. Only Kid Icarus and StarFox really appeal so far. At ?230 I think I'll pass

Launch window eh? I wonder how wide the window is. That's a killer line-up as long as I'm not waiting until next year. Zelda, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Star Fox, Resident Evil, Ridge Racer, Paper Mario etc. will do me.
