It wasn't to be honest! We had a view of the screen perfectly, and could see Arnie Roth et al close up perfectly!
We just couldn't see part of the right side orchestra as we were above them, but you could still see. Infact we were so close that you could see the orchestra and the singers really close up! Was able to see nobuo singing one winged angel really close up as well!!
I guess it's because your at the side of the stage so have a different view? I dunno, I was very happy though!

Unforgettable.
The atmosphere even before the concert was amazing, Repertoire was fantastic along with plenty of surprises, the new Chocobo Medley alone showed how much everyone was having a good time.
There are no words to describe how memorable the night was.
Alsoat the number of Threatrhythm Streetpasses that night too

Another brilliant concert. For a celebration however, I'm not sure it was better than last year's. If you'd been to both, there were a few repeats, most noticeably 'You are not alone' from FF9. I questioned the choice of piece last year and I've done so again this year - y u no Melodies of Life? Also a little disappointed with 'Eyes on Me' - Crystal Kay (me neither) sung it competently but Susan's rendition was far better.
On the positives, I absolutely loved the Chocobo piece - the XI bit had me a little teary eyed, always got to me in the game. Vana'Diel march medley was also awesome and I actually quite enjoyed the V main theme, despite me considering it to be one of the weakest main themes I've heard. Great seating at the rear of the arena, I actually had chance to say hi to Sakaguchi as I walked past his seat on the way to mine, must have been no more than 10 feet away - the guy operating the spotlight needed to wake up though!
Some nice bits of merchandise from the stands too, naughty me for unintentionally ending up at the front of the queue and not leaving the entrance hall when I bought something after I decided I wanted more stuff. Came away with two rather lovely wall scrolls, the dvd of a past show and the final addition to my soundtrack collection - the FFXIII-2 limited edition!Last edited by Daragon; 04-11-2012, 20:23.

Loved every single minute of it.
As a born again XIV addict I was proper psyched by Susan Calloway's awesome performance of Answers and the Battle Medley towards the end was just pure fan service of the best kind (Battle on the Big Bridge, much <3).
Vana'dilel March Medley brought back a lot of good memories too, especially #2 (Chains of Promathia version). Arnie Roth got a good cheer when he asked how many people present were online players.

Hell, the whole thing was just brilliant from start to finish and I'm just depressed now that it will be another year or so before I can see it again (and I WILL be going again, no question).

I just really like melodies of life, and if you've heard Susan sing it before on the DW website then you'd like it a lot more too. Despite singing it in Japanese, I didn't think the original vocalist could be bettered, didn't think that of any original vocalists, well maybe apart the dodgy Asian who sang distant worlds. Susan is just fantastic though and it's easy to see why she was personally chosen by nobuo for the XIV theme.
I'm sure you are not alone is a fine piece, but the game has bigger and better. Oh well, at least it isn't one winged angel which gets played at every frigging show! As epic as that piece is I will probably grow to loath it eventually :-(

OWA is massively over rated along with the rest of the game, but it symbolises VII more than any other piece, I prefer Dancing Mad or The Extreme over them (as final boss themes), but the crowd went wild, and there would have been a ****-storm if they didn't play it, how could they not?
Theme of Love was a nice surprise, since I didn't actually know what to expect after Answers, that Battle Medley was brilliant too.
