    Aim help on console FPS

Do you use this? (It's normally default I guess).

    Do you notice any difference?
Perhaps you notice with some games but not others.

I use it in CoD, but I've never considered turning it off. I will try it!

I tried it on and off in Crysis 2 demo MP, but couldn't tell any difference. I still ended up firing at right angles to every target (according to the killcam - perhaps I'm lagging badly).

    Any hints from addicted players?

i normally turn any sort of aiming assistance off. Harder to get headshots :-)

I generally turn it off if it's an option as more often than not it blows my aiming and timing and can ruin the ability to lead a target by snapping onto their current position rather than where I want to aim which is where they are about to be. If I remember correctly in CoD it automatically goes for the head? If so that can be a pain as with bullet penetration it's often more effective just to go for body hits through the wall/cover. Haven't tried the new Crysis demo myself yet though.
