today i was at work (i work at forbidden planet nottingham) and my boss found a box of 15 MGS2 collectors figures. apparently they were delivered a few weeks ago as damaged stock and we were told we could sell them for whatever price we wanted, not the ?8 each they are supposed to be. however rather than sell them for ?2 as he had planned today my boss decided to just give them to me for free

i have no idea, its the second box ive seen, the first ones we had a few of left when i started working there but because its kind of a lucky dip nobody knows which they're gonna get and they sold really badly. which is why i got them for free

Do you know of any other sites where I might be able to buy a few more of those Soul Calibur figurines? I want Ivy, Taki and Link and a couple of others but I don't know if they were ever produced or not.

Inside cover of the above book along with a funky bumbag which came with a tshirt and a full copy of the game in the tin, and my copy of MGS ps1 which I got signed along with the first NES game.

Still like those figs though.

I have a completed set of these figures and they are very cool. I brought all 16 of them 7 colour 7 grey about a year ago, they were released in Japan. You have to buy a large box of them which contains 15 figures (7colour,7grey + 1 special raiden one in either colour or grey) once i had them i then went on ebay to find the last special raiden one to complete my set.

I like these figures more than the mcfarlane once, they are a lot smaller but a far harder to find.

The one I ordered is the silver RAY. That looks more stylish than the painted one, although I dont think there was a painted MGS Ray in the selection. I dont have almost any figures but that one floated my boat!

I have an Ivy figurine but that came free from HMV after ordering Soul Calibur 2, a promitional 4 set of sonics from SEGA Europe and a few overs but their in the loft.

Unfortunatly after my new found love of anime I have a small love Hina figurine, sitting on some sand with a lollypop... If my workmates or girlfriend found out I'll be dead!
