    It wasnt the fact that it was a blurry mucky mess that made me stop playing Twilight Princess half way through, it was the fact that I kept having to play as a dog in it. Its Zelda, I want to play as Link, not a bloody dog.

      From what I?ve read and been told on here, it was added as a cheap, none taxing way to smoothen textures (or hide jaggies?), but was only used with normal crt telly?s in mind, so it makes games look like ass on an lcd - think shakey explained this better in another thread. ;p

      Shame Nintendo stuck with their ?nobody uses a HDTV's? philosophy for so long.

      I?d be interested to know how Wind Waker looks through component on a Wii if anyone?s tried. Does it have the same nasty blurriness or is the picture relatively clear?

        Haha, same for me.
        Got it on the Wii and hated the controls, so bought it on NTSC GC as well and then gave up on it after a while as I couldn't be bothered with playing as a pooch either.
