Heh, I remember listening to the original Fire Temple music online years after only ever having played later versions of Ocarina of Time where it was changed. It was proper freaky when the chanting started.

That is interesting, though. It's only after watching that video I realise I've never seen a single news article or any kind of confirmation for why the music was changed. Funny how some things come to be accepted as truth despite a total lack of evidence.

Great video, and nice to know it wasn't an act of censorship (at least not a prompted one).

Perhaps they pulled the chant from a non-public domain source and realised they had a rights issue afterwards?
