What games should Sega remake?

No doubt that in the past, there have been some classics that have remained in the 80s, where an update would of been more than welcome. Games such as:

Powerdrift, Super Hang on, Afterburner, Enduro Racer, Wonderboy.

These are major franchises i think, that could well help Sega re-establish themselves... And dont get me started on games like Scud Race and Daytona2....

None? I think most of the Sega Ages remakes are entirely pointless.

Actually, the only Sega games I'd like to see remade our NiGHTS and Burning Rangers so more people could experience them.

The Ages series has been pretty **** IMHO. Seag could/should have done much much more.

Anyway, I'd like to see:

1. Streets of Rage
2. Power Drift

Yes i agree, the Sega Ages series could of been done better.

However, this wasnt really what i was talking about. I was thinking perhaps Sega doing a Shinobi with the games i mentioned, but doing a slightly better job than Shinobi, as much as i liked it, it was still quite shallow.

Perhaps Sega should have let loose the programmers of Metroid Prime on Shinobi, and made the game in a similar style to the Nintendo classic, From what I have seen of the Ps2 Shinobi remake, perhaps they shouldnt have bothered , it would be nice though to see some time and real thought go into remaking one of my all time favourite games.

I would also like to see powerdrift remade perhaps using the same game engine as Outrun 2, I reckon that will probably happen as well

I don't see how they should remake any games, to be honest. I still find it weird that it isn't enough for a company to just produce games and be recognised for their production and not certain franchises; e.g. you don't see Eminem releasing "Stan 2" or whatever... Considering the oft compared media industries, it's weird how it all works (or doesn't)...

Sega need to look forward instead of updating all their old games for modern consoles.

They need to streamline BIG TIME.

They need to put their big titles as well marketed multiplatform releases (Sonic Heros is a good start).

They need to produce games with the playability of their arcade classics, but with the lastability and length of a decent console adventure game. That would sell to the masses more than their current plan.

SEGA should remake ESWAT with bang up-to-date technology. Perhaps add some adventuring between arcade missions. First person might work well... I thought the MD version was bloody amazing.

Also Revenge of Shinobi....I just didn't feel the Shinobi on PS2 felt Shinobi enuff.

They have the capability and talent but dont know how to use them. Sonic team is a joke, the only thing keeping them respectable is their arcade games.
