UAE-X (Amiga Xbox emu) - v buggy or is it just mine?

I tried 2 versions of this now - latest being v0.81 and I'm getting game crashes with loads of the roms - e.g. Shadow of the Beast, and pretty much any relatively compex game eventually hangs at some point.

Does anybody else use this emu - do you have the same problems?

UAE-X crashes are fairly common. The Amiga is said to be one of the hardest machines to emulate because of the crazy timings going on between the audio and video chips. Although UAE is getting there, it's still nowhere near perfect. A lot of the crashes are down to timing and emulator configs. With the PC version of UAE there are a ton of options you can tweak to get pretty much anything working, but the xbox port is a lot less flexible. It's nice for simple arcade games like Alien Breed or Turrican, but the timing problems and the lack of keyboard makes playing in-depth games or graphics heavy titles a bit of a nightmare.

Totally off-topic. I was watching an early episode of Babylon 5 the other day, where Garibaldi was using a computer terminal. It crashed on him, and you could clearly make out a red flashing rectangle bordering the top quarter of his screen. LOL.
