    Backloggery - got one?

Backloggery is a page that lets you track your game collection and progress within the games. I have been using it actively for a while now. Feels really great to check off games as you complete them, not to mention adding new ones as you buy them. It also lets you post a comment on the game, and give it a star rating.

Anybody got a Backloggery account? Would be neat to see each others collection and gaming habits.

Heres mine: http://backloggery.com/alexws (feel free to "friend" me, as I currently have none... )

Consoles should keep track of this themselves. It would be great. Any discs you insert or games you download should be added to a list that you can then adjust as necessary.

I've got one but gave up quick as I didn't find it very intuitive to use.

I'd love the next systems to keep an hours played count like games do but for the console itself. I'd be fascinated by it

Given how Zynga are stat tracking their facebook games, and how useful they find the data, I'd expect that sort of tracking to be in all of the next generation of hardware...

The 3DS has an hour counter for your games. That and maybe a number of how many times a game has been completed would have been gold. I would've preferred that to the achievement/trophy system, as those tends to make me play the games very mechanically.

I've been experimenting with Google lists/bookmarks for this.

although I was more interested in keeping track of the games I should remember to play some day, rather than games I haven't completed yet. That list would be absurdly huge

No doubt the next generation of hardware will give my friends all manner of statistics regarding how many games I failed to complete.

I've been trying to get an account for ages but registration has been down for a very very long time.

Yeah I think they're at their limit atm, the website was starting to time out a LOT for a while there.

I started one up so I could keep track of everything a while back, more games get added than beat though tbh www.backloggery.com/cepp

                Added you btw alexws.

Yowsa, you've got a banner n'****. Very cool. Do you know if Backloggery tracks the date you complete the game? I've started adding the date manually, but would be cool if it did.

i would rather spend more time playing through my backlog than tracking it, but right now I'm in the grip of Netflix...

Yeah, I kind of got a bit ocd with making it look nice lol.

It does track when you beat/complete a game but it's in the history section along with every other change you've made unfortunately.

Tracking helps with goals though. Otherwise you can't be ashamed at how poorly you are doing.

I don't think it's 100% up to date though, PS+ stuff in particular might not have been added.
