Anticipation: April Releases

It's almost April already and after a busy month things quieten down a bit.

Which new release are you 'trending' the most?

There's nothing out in April that floats my boat. I'm pretty up to date with this year's releases too. I'll be spending most of April finishing Crysis 2 & burying myself in Yakuza 4.

For me it has to be Portal 2. The co-op in particular looks brilliant. Mortal Kombat is too much like an XBL MK2 remake and SOCOM plays oddly just like the 3rd person mode in MW2, nothing like the previous SOCOM. I'll get NFS Shift as well, the last one was a great game

Portal 2, definitely. Hopefully I can see past (what looks to be) the awful, comdey, Stephen Merchant, sidekick robot and enjoy some more mindbending puzzles. Good single player please, Valve. I don't give a toss about co-op.

Will give Shift 2 a punt. Really enjoyed the first one until the later tiers became almost unplayable due to over sensitive controls and silly bugs. Cockpit racing was superb, ace sense of speed and really competitive A.I.
Just hope it makes up for the disapoinment i had with GT5.

Would be Portal 2 were it not for all the co-op.

Shift 2 interests me greatly. I wont be picking it up new though. Too many price cuts nowadays to pay full price and too many bugged games released.

Has to be portal 2, will probabaly get a couble of the others but none of them excite me that much.

Are there no 3ds games comming out in april?

Portal 2 is all i have to look forward to on 360 till bioshock infinite & the new elder scrolls turns up, literally nothing else i want.

Mortal Kombat por moi, looks like it has some decent offline content which is quite unlike the other top fighters.

Loved the original Portal but haven't been keeping up with this one, I know Steam is coming to the PS3 but does that mean custom levels made from the PC community and all that?

Mortal Kombat for me. Looks great fun and the demo is nice. Poss Portal 2 but may get frustated if I can't do certain puzzles I guess.

Can't wait for Portal 2. The co-op looks a right laugh.

Quite interested to see how that Jurassic Park game turns out. Though from the Quick Look I watched on Giantbomb, I don?t have high hopes.

Seriously looking forward to Portal 2 for single player AND co-op, 2 times more Portal action!
Also a point n clicky on PC called, The Next Big Thing (next game from the peeps that made the awesome Runaway Trilogy) looks pretty epic and funny, cannot wait.
May have to dabble in Operation Flashpoint: Red River hopefully play with a squad, get out and shoot some bad guys.
Tis an odd month.

But this month is all about the Dynasty Warriors.

We all have our guilty pleasures, those games are mine.
