No multiplayer except for co-op (which is fine by me as that was great fun it two - well, when they patched it).

As a lover of their second, I can't wait to play this - it looks to be even more bat**** insane.

I love saints row, it's the fun GTA!! Did anyone get the bike in 2 that could ride up the side of buildings? a homage to Akria I think

Wonder if they'll use a toned down version of Red Factions damage physics, it's the same developer yez?

It is - I think SR: The Third is a new engine from the second title, and it'll have no damage physics for the cars. Not sure about the actual environment though as Volition admitted that RF: Guerilla was a bit too ambitious (hence them streamlining the next one, RF: Armageddon into areas to allow for more destruction).

I am so hyped for this game after seeing some of the footage coming out of E3. So much so that I'm started watching this,

almost laughed my box off, and then had to stop because I don't want to spoil finding out how awesome this game is until I play it.

Also, I'm just going to park these here as to why I think this could be game of the year

I really loved Saints Row 2 - I'm happy to go on record saying I enjoyed it far more than I did GTA IV! I really cannot wait for 3! Day one purchase, will shut myself away and spend hours laughing I'm sure!

I agree. Saints Row 2 played much better than GTA IV. I tried to go back after and just couldn't It looked really jumpy as well.

I liked SR2, but I just don't get on with these 'gangsta from the hard side of town' games cos I just hate the whole gangsta talk, dick jostling, macho baggy trouser wearing stupidity that goes with it.
Stopped playing it after playing about 10 hrs cos it did my nut in.

Hopefully that will change in the 3rd?
