Along that note, I really don't get Vanillaware's approach to their games at all - they make some of the most stunning stuff ever seen, that's pretty great to play to boot, yet they seem to hem themselves in to just one format for a title all the time.

If I was them I'd be pushing their stuff out on as many platforms as I could, not making myself as niche as possible. In the current climate I don't understand how they can justify being so insular.

My guess: George Kamitami is a secret millionaire and can afford to be insular? I've never quite worked out how they managed to survive for like 5 years at a time, making such small selling games.
