    I've lost my GBAsp

    Bollocks.

It's been over a week since I last played on it and it hasn't been seen since.

The system with carrycase and 4 (new) games have gone missing. Totalling around ?190 worth of loss. Just what I need right now.

I'm totally f?$%ing skint too so it's not like I can just buy another one. Which is what I'd normally do.

Items like this aren't covered on our home contents insurance.

I'm thinking it's been nicked out of my car somehow.

All my Advance Wars 2 data
    All my YuGiOh data
    All my Pokemon Sapphire data
    All my F-Zero data

    All of it. Gone.

    Bollocks.

I feel for you man :\

Came home from uni 3/4 months ago, after leaving my GBA is perfect condition on my bedside table.

Walked into my room, found it STOOD ON ITS SIDE, with the screen smashed up. Wouldn't even power on, so it had a good bash.

Naturally, no bastard admitted to even going in my room.

    ....basts

I lost mine 1 month ago. Shame since FF Tactics came about 3 days later (I had a brand new copy of MM Network 3 as well in it)

The last time I played it was inside an indian takeaway when waiting for my meal to cook.

I remember walking out still playing Pokemon awaiting the opportunity to save (as I was mid fight)

I remember getting to my car, saving, putting it back in the case, unlocking my car, opening the door, putting my curry in the passenger footwell, then driving off.

I just hope I didn't leave it on the roof of the car when sorting my **** out. I'm always doing that.

The last time I left something on the roof of my car was a very embarrasing situation. I'd been looking after my mums old house whilst she was away working and setting off for home on the last morning I left my carrier bag on the roof of my car whilst sorting something out on the back seat. I got comfy in the drivers seat and drove off, completely forgetting about my bag of dirty undies and socks. As I flew around the first corner I saw it fly off through the rear-view mirror and then it's contents spill over the road behind me. I then realised what else was on the bag, the latest copies of quality top-shelf publications such as Men Only and Mayfair no less.

Needless to say I didn't go back to clean up.

Not my story - just relating...

Someone I know (let's call him Mr X for anonymity sake) bought a limited edition black and red GBASP - the Boktai one - and took it with him on a PR trip. Several beers and lots of tequila later, he wakes up the next morning in hospital, not having a clue where he was and covered in sick. Turns out he'd been found wandering the streets in the middle of the night and taken in; except when he gets his clothes back (he's in hospital garb, like the bloke in 28 Days Later), he finds his GBASP smashed to bits in his back pocket, beyond repair.

Mysterious GBA vandals in the hospital? Or had the silly bastard got so drunk that he fell on his arse and landed on said GBA, which was in his back pocket at the time? Guess we'll never know...

            Oh, how I laughed.

Could be worse, you could leave a kid in a carry cot on the roof of your car, it cracks me up when Jonny Knoxville does that skit in Jackass!!

It'll be down the back of the sofa with your keys.

I hope you find it. My GameCube and Dreamcast got stolen by burglars in the summer or 2002, I have to build my collections up again.

At least they had good taste.

I sympathise. I'd be gutted if I lost my GBA.

I've just realised that all my craft from F-Zero will need unlocking again, should be a chore after the severe 'ball-bust' that GX was.

I had a big look for it today - pulled everything out, checked f'n EVERYWHERE.

                        It's gone. Forever.

My PSOne for the car should be arriving next week, so it doesn't look like I'll be buying another GBA soon. Not when I'll be playing FFVI, FFVII and Suikoden on the go.

I have my regular GBA still, but you just can't go back after the SP. Plus, I don't even want to think about having to start Sapphire from scratch again.

                        My poor lvl.78 Torchic.

Have you looked in your pocket? When I lose something, it usually turns up in my pocket... just a suggestion.

If you want a new SP for nothing though, I'd recommend buying gamesTM (plug plug) and entering the Famicom SP competition in the Retro section - if you can get all the answers right, you'll be the only one so far...

I have been trying. But I never had a NES, so it's just a little tricky.

That competition is more than just rock hard, its blimin' err adamantium hard.

Hard luck on the SP Fallows, I usually think I've lost my SP then I remember its attached to my cube for some Wind Waker'age.
