wow, i wasn't going to bother with a footy game this year thinking EA would just put out a refined fifa11 and Pes being PES, but f**k me that that impact engine is brilliant, game changer even. Reminds me of Rockstar putting that E(name?) engine in GTA4.

I`m a Pro Evo player and only play Fifa round friends sometimes. Those heavy challenges in tackling and impact engine looked amazing and made me smile. The animation really is something. It`s so good animation wise at the mo.

Activision paved the way for the biggest titles to add ?5 to the RRP, bless 'em. Will not buy (I wouldn't have anyway to be fair) regardless of actual store prices, same as CoD.

At EA's current rate of $25 for three days, it would appear that EA's ideal selling price for FIFA 12 is $3,050, or 244,000 Microsoft Points which in the UK will cost you about ?1,750.

A few of us were discussing this in the FIFA Street thread and EA has today announced it. Euro 2012 coming April 24th as DLC for FIFA 12, priced at ?15.99.

Here are a few details (taken from FIFASoccerBlog):

• 53 European Nations will be available for use.
• All 8 fully licensed Euro 2012 stadia complete with real life camera angles.
• The DLC is based on the Euro 2012 tournament finals only, not qualification.
• Euro 2012 tournament play will be available offline and online.
• An all-new “Expedition mode” where you build your dream team and try to dominate Europe.
• Custom Euro 2012 commentary will be available in certain European languages.
• Daily Challenges will be available when Euro 2012 kicks off on the 8th June.
• 10 new Trophies/Achievements will be added.
• No major gameplay changes are being made, Euro 2012 will run on the existing FIFA 12 engine.
• All nations that have qualified for the Euro 2012 finals will receive squad updates before the tournament starts.
• All Euro 2012 progress will be tracked by EA SPORTS Football Club.
