    Transfarring!!!

Disappointed with the HD rehash projects, doesn't look like we will see MGS Rising at E3 which is a shame.

I'm somewhat excited by the HD versions of ZoE (if they aren't just 'touch ups' ala the Resident Evil 4/Veronica set). Mostly because I've never actually gotten around to playing them.

No sign of Tak Fuji was a letdown.

Peace Walker's meant to be alright, though? Can't justify getting the collection for it, tbh. Hype set to zero.
Peace Walker is the best MGS I've played. Its an MGS thats actually fun.

Does Transfaring mean the new NGP Silent Hill will be playable on PS3? I'll never buy a handheld so this is great if so.

So Kojima was pouting on Twitter a few days ago about having his prototype cancelled, yet they basically dedicated this whole thing to stroking his ego.

There, there little Hideo don't be sad, Konami still loves you and your cash cow series.

I'll be up for some HD action, has been 5 years since MGS3 and I never got round to ZOE. I suppose there is hope for ZOE 3 now too

Bit harsh. Metal gear is a classic series deserving of an hd remake IMO. As was gow and as is halo ce. The guy is a legend after all

I don't want ANY HD remakes really.

                          MAKE NEW GAMES.

I have no interest in playing something I've already finished through again in higher res.

Hideo is a bit of an oddball.

Always complaining about wanting to make another series than MGS, but everytime he announces something, its an MGS.

If Konami persuades him in doing so, well he could easily tell them to FO or else. Konami needs him more than the other way around. Besides MGS and PES they haven't got many cash cows left. Konami lives on MGS.

I think that Hideo actually lacks the skills to make something new. His MGS has been stuck in the past too, the gameplay is crap and the storyline is mixed bag enough to think 1 and 3 might be a fluke.

I think he has had some great ideas. The problem is that he doesn't seem to know enough about general game design to make a solid, coherent product. All his games have great elements but are bogged down by poor controls, aimless level design or poor pacing. If only he would let somebody else take the role of game director, his ideas could turn into excellent games.

He's in dire need of editing but Konami probably have the "not broke, don't fix it" attitude to his games because whatever he makes will sell in quantities that justify his continuing creative freedom. I get the impression that he's becoming like Miyamoto- a company figurehead and spokesperson that oversees a lot of internal work but might not have the time to get as deeply involved with a project anymore.
