Call of Duty ELITE - monetizing the online shooter

Sorry to bump this thread, but I'm having major problems signing into CoD:Elite. On Thursday I tried to login every 20mins from 11am to 7pm with no luck. I still havent managed to login successfully, just keep getting 'we know there is a problem, please try again later' messages.

I had intended to sign up for the paid service (for the DLC) but I was never a massive online player of this series, so this has really turned me off to this idea if this is the state that the service is in 5 days after it went online.

I managed to get on last night at last as the congestion freed up. If you're not massively into the online side of the game there's nothing of worth there really. It's entirely geared towards the online gamer.

Is the Pro map analysis in this any good? Is it just like the Halo2 online integration where you could see where you got shot and stuff (for free...)?

Yeah, but the Halo one overlaid them all so you can see patterns. So basically "Don't go here you will die over and over". For those that can't figure it out themselves. Like me....

Actually, for Halo players it's more like, go over here to get revenge. Or at least that's what I've found.

Not really used the Elite app myself much, from memory its mostly handled like a heat map showing the hot spots for where death most likely happens
