best combat flight sims

had a hankering for a decent combat flight sim...not really played one since falcon 4 many years ago

anyone got any suggestions ? (i guess they will be mostly for pc )

Pacific Fighters is one I own, with the only other I have ever played being unitones suggestion. I think Pacific Fighters is made by the same people.

Ace combat 6 is pretty good. Bloody hard though.

DCS A-10C, if you fancy CAS missions with only a modicum of dogfighting (and if you end in a dogfight, you did something wrong). Falcon 4.0 Allied Force, Free Falcon and Jane's F-18 are excellent sims for fighters, though they are a bit outdated right now.

I was thinking this exact same thing the other day.

I miss the days of PC flight sims.

Loved playing the old Origin ones back in the day some stunning WW2 one's about in the mid 90's
