New Atelier game - Elkrone

Gust is releasing Atelier Meruru and they already have an other Atelier game planned, but this time it's gonna be full of pretty men.
The character design is still by Kishida Mel and the game will be published by Otomate, a label specialized in romance novels for girls.
Who owns Otomate? Idea Factory. Let's hope they don't get their hands into the game.

A teaser site is up, but there's no info on release window or systems.

Can't see it being anything other that a portable title. Gust aren't the greatest developer around but you'd have to be insane to throw lots of development money Idea Factory's way. I'd find it amusing though it it was revealed to show CG full of shots of the guys in speedos, in saunas/hot springs and with lots of blushing and vaguely phallic objects.

I wonder what Gust's main team will be doing once Meruru is released (seems to be quite a lot of hype for that which is suprising, I always though Atelier series struggled to get past 100K). New franchise? An Atelier Annie for the 3DS? Rorona port for the Vita?

First details are coming in.
Main character's name is Merieru and she inherits her grandmother's alchemic workshop where she mets a fairy and they start conjuring cursed alchemic items to conquer the world. The guys shown on the main site are the heroes trying to stop her and Merieru can just kill them or keep them as her pets.



Or maybe not. I guess I'll be interested in something like this.

Game is scheduled for January 2012, target system is the PSP and there will be a limited edition including a leather whip.
