    No, because that's cheating

Man, if you're trapped on an island, by yourself, surely the PC game will want to be some kind of strip poker variant? Console game could be one of those porn titles on 3DO. For handhelds one of those GPS type titles to help get off the island (assuming the PC and console titles don't prove too distracting).

You can have a PC full of years of downloaded porn if you want, but you're only allowed one game. If you still want strip poker fair enough!

And GPS isn't going to help you get off an island, it'll just advise you that, yes, you're trapped on an island. This island is remote and uncharted, I don't know what you'd do with GPS at all.

PC game - Going to go down the Football Manager route. Haven't played one for years, but on a deserted island there would be no better mind numbing timesink.

Console game would be Borderlands GOTY. I could play this over and over, plus it scratches both the RPG and Shooter itch.

Handheld game is tricky. Can I go into the future and take Tales of the Abyss on 3DS?

Lol Sketcz instantly got worried about the porn.

You could bring a volleyball, paint a face and boobies on it and make do with that :P

Without internet access I'd find the PC option quite tough. I would have picked Battlefield or Guildwars or something, but Master Toys says no
SpaceChem is a good shout, such a good puzzle game.

Console - I'd have to go with Skyrim. I'm not planning on getting stranded until at least November, so you can't say I'm cheating.

Hand Held - hmm another tough one as I'm not a big handheld gamer. Game Dev Story 2. I've delayed my trip again to allow this one through.

I don't like PC games so I'd put a bloody palm print on the monitor and fashion some hair with the wires so I'd have someone called Dell to talk to.

Console = Devil May Cry 3 PS2 (endless scope to refine one's 'madskillz')
Hand Held = Advance Wars GBA (would take forever trying to S-Rank all the maps)
PC = Monkey Island 2: Le Chuck's Revenge (so I could pretend to be a pirate and have a bit of a laugh)

Why didn't you say so! For a moment I thought it would be proper roughing it on the island.

For PC games the logical thing would be something like Spelunky, which has clever randomisation in it. But in the end I think I'd probably for Morrowind (not Oblivion) with some graphics mods. It's also set on an island, and the different character classes allow for variation in an epic adventure. Or something similarly epic.

Thinking about, an obvious handheld choice would be Survival Kids on GBC. Educational as well as entertainment!

Not just porn, but the original rules are that you are alone on the island. Meaning there'd be no ladeez (to potentially stalk, seeing as we're all game nerds).

Survival Kids was awesome, could never quite get into Lost in Blue though

PC - has to be a Football Manager Game. If I was alone on an island I might even be tempted to manage all the reserve games.

Console - Oblivion. Completing that as every different race, skill etc would take an age and powering up would be a good way to spend the time.

Handheld - Tetris. Obvious but still worth it.

As good as Tetris is, I don't think I could play it forever. There's a limit where the game gets too fast and so I can never improve beyond that point - I already reached it on GB when I was about ten and I've never managed it again, but at the same time I've never really felt the need. I feel like I've seen all I'm going to see.

I think I went with it because I would want something quicker than the other two for when I wanted a quick blast of gaming between coconut scavenging.

Off topic but I was talking to our lass the other day and said imagine if prison sentences were task orientated instead of time. For instance, you couldn't be free until you 3 starred every level of Angry Birds! You had to have the game on full volume and wait between ipod/phone charges.
