[Neo Geo Station - PSN] Are Neo Geo classics censored or uncensored?

Hello to everyone,
I'm new here, even if I'm a long time reader of ntsc-uk.

I noticed that every euro/american footage from SNK PSN classics (from The King of Fighters '94 to Metal Slug, from Samurai Shodown to Art of Fighting...) show the old, terrible censorship from back in the days.

I already own almost all PS2 Neo Geo Online Collection volumes, and I use them on my japanese console, but since I can't play them on my PS3 I would gladly double (triple) dip with PSN KoF'94, '95, Metal Slug, etc.

I remember on Neo Geo console censorship depended on system's region, and XBOX Live SNK hits allow you to switch from EU/US to japanese rom by changing the console language.

Does anyone know if the trick works on PS3 as well? Or if there's a way to play those games in japanese, even if you pick them up from the euro PS Store?
