I have got 6x100 points deposited in today. I've went to https://billing.microsoft.com/Points.aspx and taken a picture of my statements just in case. I wouldn't spend any of those points yet, as it's pretty obvious it's an error and I'd assume Microsoft will be taking them back.

I'd say it has to be rewards program related. 100 points is the amount I'm due for it and looking around the net it seems to be the same for everyone else in that they have 6 or more deposits of the amount they are meant to have.

I can't remember if it was four or five 1? for a month of gold that I received this time (before changing to paypal for payment).

edit, Their system seems to have been buggered for a while. I only received an email receipt for a 2100 point card I redeemed a fortnight ago yesterday and I received a reminder to renew my live today...

Xbox Twitter support has said once points are deposited they cannot be removed. I don't trust em so im spending them asap.
