Afaik the only game that takes advantage of using a DS3 with a PSP3000 is as you mentioned Resistance, you need a copy of Resistance 2 and Resistance Retribution to get it working though.

You could use Remotejoylite if you have CFW, but that involves having to play your PSP on a PC & Monitor

How is the second option possible? Only through component? My monitor only has VGA and DVI connections and the PC has no HDMI, it'd be great to play it through my PC though.
