Anticipation: September - 2nd Half

Gears is a given (mainly cause I work for MS), but I'm still strangely interested in the Silicon Knights X-Men game. It looks really rough visually, kind of like a poor mans Infamous, but I enjoyed Too Human despite it's faults so I still think this could turn out ok.

Already have Gears 3 pre-ordered so that's a given. ICO & SotC collection is also tempting seeing as I never played SotC on PS2 (and haven't finished ICO ).

The Ico collection is all I'm interested in for the whole of September, it seems. I'm only interested in that pretty Japanese set, though, and I can't afford to get that so nothing for me this month!

It's mainly the Silent Hill and ICO collections for me in this half of the month. I've already got the D/L Splinter Cell set so that's out and the extortionate Resi's can sling it, lol

ICO/SotC collection is the only thing that piques my interest, but I don't have a PS3 so nothing for me. It'll take me all of September to finish Deus Ex anyway.

Anybody else feel this (up until now) has been the worst year for gaming for some time? I know the last quarter is filled with promise but the first 8, 9 months have provided little. I think I bought 2 games all year, Portal 2 and Child of Eden, both of which disappointed.

I may get Resident Evil 4, but that's it.

It is a bad gaming year for me. Dead Space 2 was reasonable, Mortal Kombat is amazing, Marvel vs Capcom 3 is passable and that's my lot.

Agree - it has been a shocking year thus far, the only games I actually remember enjoying are the Jeff Minter games on iOS.
