Persona 4 : The Golden - Vita + Persona 4 G PS3

    アトラスの人気RPG「ペルソナ」シリーズの総合情報ポータルサイト。

Atlus kinda fail at subtle teasers. That said, it could be deliberate and actually be a Persona 4 spin off rather than a port.

Kanji's social link would be interesting as a female MC.

Think it's much more likely to be a Vita or 3DS title rather than PSP given the chance of a PSP game selling in any real numbers in the west a year from now is pretty low.

Looks like they want to get the entire Persona series onto PSP. Maybe we will see Eternal Punishment also.

      Unveiled in the latest Famitsu.

Persona 4 : The Golden. Vita port of P4. Contains more voice acting, more events, new intro, at least one new girl is shown (not clear if she's just a social link or a party member as well) and hints of more stuff.

Persona 4 G : Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena is a fighting game by the Blazblue developers that features all the P4 cast plus some P3 characters it seems.

The Golden should have been on PSP instead of Vita. The PSP's Japanese installed user base would have probably done decent numbers for it with fans looking for the whole series on one system whereas the Vita's base will be tiny in comparison and more selective with the higher game prices. Especially given the it wouldn't get big western sales regardless of format.

Or they could be encouraged by Sony to stick it on Vita to give the system a game that could help drive sales.

Persona 4 was a pretty big seller in the US and EU.

Realistically, it'd be around 9 months before it would come out over here. In 9 months, the PSP will be dead here.

A western Vita version is probably worth 100K units, even close to launch with a smaller user base. Considering they would expect <500K units in total, that's not to be sniffed at. Not to mention the amount of special editions they'll sell in the west.

              Now with added pictures!

Looks pretty much like the PS2 game does running on EPSX2 although having higher res portraits and art should make it look better than that does.

Wonder if they'll resist the temptation to lift the new videos from the anime...

Kinda glad it is not on PSP so I don't need to buy it.

Going to be such a long wait for P5...

I know they were sidetracked by Catherine but it's still a painfully slow project. Just hope the development time shows.

That's if some of the team doesn't get redistributed to a Catherine 2 either after the high sales they got for that game

                            Did Catherine sell well?

                            The P4 fighter looks decent!

I think that Catherine became Atlus' fastest selling title.
