Oh yeah. You would think the 11.11.11 date would stick in my mind more

Bloody typical that there's the annual games drought over the summer, when I actually had time to play them.

      1: Uncharted 3
      2: Dark Souls
3: Ico/SOTC HD (for both my wife and I)
      4: DoDonPachi Resurrection (PAL)
5: Resident Evil: Raccoon City (co-op play with Resident Evil fans lined up already)
      6: Guardian Heroes XBLA
      7: Radiant Silvergun XBLA
      8: Space Marine
      9: Arkham City
      10: Disgaea 4
11: Skyward Sword (I'm almost reluctant to play Wii games until Wii U arrives now, as playing upscaled versions in proper HD is promising)

Absolutely no interest in MW3, BF3, Gears 3 or Halo. Work's going to be hell over Christmas.

        Gah, forgot about Disgaea 4.

There's something seriously messed up about gaming release schedules. Nothing for the 3 summer months then a massive influx of major titles in the autumn.

          Sept 9th - Starfox 64 3DS
          Sept 9th - Resistance 3
          Sept 9th - El Shaddai
Sept 20th - Gears Of War 3 (probably)
Sept 30th - Ico and SotC HD collection
          Sept 30th - Fifa 2012
Oct 21st - Batman: Arkham City
          Oct 28th - Battlefield 3
          Nov 2nd - Uncharted 3
          Nov 8th - COD: Modern Warfare 3
Nov 18th - Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword
          Dec 4th - Mario Kart 7

Super Mario 3DS whenever that releases too.

          That'll do piglet, that'll do.

If I had to break it to main ones I'd say the 5 I'm most looking forward to are:

            -Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception
            -Dead Island
            -Batman: Arkham City
            -Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
            -Assassins Creed: Revelations

I'm looking forward to COD as well though like I suspect is the case with many COD's absent from the list mainly because it's more an accepted fact rather than a long awaited title. I'm in the same boat with Battlefield 3 now the new engine has worn off. Both decent but nothing new in either.

This. Over 800 clubs games now with my team and still going on Fifa 11.

I'm really looking forward to Dark Souls, Mario Land 3DS and BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend if released as a budget edition, or better as patch+DLC for BBCS. Zelda, Star Fox 3DS, Atelier Totori, Mario Kart and the ICO/SotC collection are among the time fillers, something I'll enjoy playing but aren't strictly needed for gaming needs.

[edit] Senran Kagura. Between the two groups.

                  Skyrim
                  Dark Souls
                  Battlefield 3
                  AC Revalations
                  Rayman

Skyrim, Resistance, Forza, Uncharted and Zelda is more than enough until next easter in my book.

Not much for me in the coming months but before xmas will be

                      Ninokuni (PS3)
                      Onepiece gigant battle 2 (DS)
                      Skyrim (360)

Not too fussed with the new zelda or mario as of yet, i'll get them after xmas, the above 3 will keep me occupied for months really. Hell the DS version of ninokuni is still keeping me going now, 70 hours & still playing

So I wonder how crazy the price wars will be in November? How low will these big games go? I'll be watching gamestop, I have already made an account for a quick order.

I have also pre-ordered batman with tesco as you get the joker carnival map. 4 hours of extra game play! beats a character skin.

Once november starts, i expect the price wars to pretty much done with. The shops are in holiday mode, and need every RRP they can get.

There will still be plenty of games were buying forecasts are wrong and they have too much. There will be reductions, just as there are every year.

                                Sure, but not before xmas.
