Sub arrived today and I think you're all missing the best thing about this issue. Turn to page 82:
How Alfred Hitchkock Invented Videogames and Ten More Fascinating Origin Stories
Possibly the weirdest, strangest, most bizarre and off-the-wall article I have ever read in a games magazine. Not just in content but also the slightly acid-induced style of writing. Could it be the best (most insane) feature GTM has ever printed*? Quite possibly!
Also, turn to page 125 for coverage of my game, Lady Priest Lawnmower. At last, I have been immortalised.
EDIT:
* OK, it's not that insane, but it's certainly not dry like some multiformat magazine features are.
EDIT2:
Also, the Famitsu article also stands as contender for one of the best features. I recall when EDGE did a poxy 4 page feature, and it was bollocks, with little insight or content. This meaty beast of an article really fleshes out the era. A supremely excellent read.
This is the first issue of my new sub to Europe, and I am most impressed.
