Yeah, the Crysis quote is the usual trash we hear about the current systems. The possibilities of a Deus Ex game are immense but there's a huge amount that HR doesn't do that it could have done perfectly fine on current hardware. Why not wish for a PS7 level hardware? Because more powerful hardware does not always make a great game, asking for it is because the visual bump is an wasy way to get attention to your game without actually doing anything innovative.
