If it's out this year I think we'll ultimately be happy one way or another. We know it won't be a game-changer in the genre but I'm sure it'll look nice, play decently and be worth some of our time for genre fans.

Hopefully once the game's released (at a reduced RRP maybe) we can put this out-of-time fiasco behind us and duel our Personas...

I heard the game is quite good and stands as a fighter on its own. I wanted to get this yet region locked... Shame my Backwards compatible US PS3 YLODed a few years ago. RIP. I'll get Persona Arena eventually. I don't have BlazBlue... Any good? Maybe I'll just get that instead first.

I played this on the Arcade in Japan. Had lots of story elements from Persona which I did not understand as not played Persona before. I tried some if the characters. It's a great looking game, fight system seemed every stable some things similar to Guilty Gear and Blazblue in the way it play. Defintely will be deeper system wise than it first appears.

I still bought it despite our market has been ripped off. Its pretty decent, reminds me of BB. Its somewhat easier because of a lot of auto combos, yet there are just as much mechanics and possibilities. I do think KOF XIII is the best 2D fighter as it feels so familiar and thus is easy to get into but Persona 4 Arena is pretty funky as well.

I'd definitely agree with the above I feel KOF XIII is a much better game. Persona didn't feel natural in comparison, I also don't like the camera/distance.

Will give this a whirl when I recieve my copy through the post. Nice to see a competent take on the franchise and although it may not be the best 2D fighter I'm sure it has some quirks of its own.

Anyone down for some KOF XIII fights, find my invitation on the online challenges forum.

Agreed on the KOF XIII front, I think it's the best fighter this gen. P4A I played briefly last year but in honesty I'm not sure I 'got it' - it seemed the characters were even more diverse and weird than in Blazblue. Anyway, my copy's shipped from Game now, so hopefully I'll be giving it another shot soon.

Feel dirty buying the PAL release after all of this bollocks :/
