It's cheaper to buy direct from the eShop than using a middle man to get me some scratch cards. My unit should be here on Thursday. I can do a test purchase for something cheap I suppose, and then panic if it doesn't work.

No, I meant you can purchase credit on the eShop in advance of buying the game. It'll cut down the wait between release and you being able to download it. But don't expect the shop to work the first day - it'll crash HARD.

So, who is actually getting on Monhun 4 from release here then? I'd be quite up for it I spose.

I'm hoping the time difference will be my friend, and allow me to get it without trouble. I can confirm that I'll have it as close to launch as possible providing I have no problems in actually getting the D/L. It'll be quite slow going for me as I'll need to rely on translations to play at first, but that doesn't put me off in the slightest. Once I have my main items sorted out, it'll likey be easy enough to play.

You can't buy 5980? of credit unless you do the exact amount when purchasing the game though right? I don't want any spare funds hanging about as I'm likely to never make another purchase from the JPN eShop.
