Well i did,
and to be fair it was good. it had a large mixture of games from the more family friendly fare like just dance 3 and disney universe to teh hardcore stuff like gears of war uncharted 3 and assassins creed revelations.
The Good stuff i saw:
Nintendo booth was interesting. plenty of 3ds games on show and not too bad on the q front. You were able to play mario Kart 7, super mario 3d land, kid icarus, metal gear solid snake eater 3d and others. i have to say that the games i played were impressive mario was great fun as was mario kart. Zelda had its own booth and was skyward sword and ocarina of time (didn't manage to win an ocarina boo!).
Sony's booth had a load of games that again you could just walk up and play, i played ICO in 3d and SOTC also in 3d and these were vastly improved over there PS2 counterparts with framerate and graphics. Though a show floor is perhaps not the best setting for this it was still enjoyable. Also shown were journey pixeljunk side scroller and lots of others.
Xbox area had a load of games in it played forza 4 and that was impressive, halo anniversary was also impressive the graphics switching while a gimmick was a really good way of showing how far that game has come. I played Kinect sports 2 darts and that will be a family favourite here come christmas time. Gears was there as was Mass effect 3 (so hyped for this Now)
special mention to capcom booth with streetfighter x tekken resident evil and asuras wrath friendly staff and not to bad in the q department.
The bad stuff.
Queues
They were approaching infinite wait times for skyrim, MW3, and SW the old republic though towards the end of the day these died down considerably, Q jumping was dealt with with a stern word rather than violence but people were of course very protective of their spot.
really enjoyable day out for those of us unhappy with eurogamer choice not to have leeds this year. well worth a visit though i might suggest either fri or sunday to go next year.
