Rare to see the BBC cover game news like this, had a quick look at the BBC feature and as always they make some basis errors in the feature. Really wish the BBC would get a proper video games report.

It's a bug/glitch with the game not a cheat, BBC.

"Exploits in the bestselling video game Dead Space 3 are allowing users to obtain in-game items for free."
It's only just been released it's not a best seller just yet, nor have the sale figures been released yet to back this statement.

The solicitor comments don't apply to Dead Space 3 either as this is content you find in game normally. The only game I know of that had a problem were you could access DLC without paying for it was Castle Crashes. As you could use a very nasty bug found in game to access paid for DLC content without paying for it.

Yep EA really are the most disgraceful company out there. A game that doesn't sell as many copies because EA insisted on ruining the series and adding mircrotransactions so what do they do, shut down the studio, disgusting.
