Anticipation: October 2011 - Part 1

Things begin to get busy as the Xmas crunch of releases starts getting heavier in October. As usual, this skips import titles as there's not many due in the time frame and I don't want to take it to 3 polls.

You can select multiple titles so feel free to choose every game you're looking forward to getting your mitts on as the early dark nights draw in.

I have Dark Souls on a pre-order but hearing about the PS3 version crashing isn't a good sign.
Unless Forza 4 can be had cheapish I'll wait. I don't really the lust to binge on a racer at the moment.

I'll play Rage and Batman:AC eventually but neither are anywhere near essential to me.

I'm not expecting great things from it but Rage is one I'll be giving a try along with Forza 4. Loved the Ace Combat demo so that's in as is Batman

Dark Souls should last me the month, I reckon...possibly. It's a funny one - I'm both mega jazzed about it, and a wee bit sceptical that it'll match the impact and quality of the original.

Rage, Arkham and Dead Rising 2: The one with Frank in it will most likely be bought at some point.

I wasn't a big fan of Demon Souls but I didn't hate it. None the less, I can't shake a bad vibe with Dark Souls.

Saw Dark Souls at EG Expo today. It's a LOT prettier than Demons was. Still way too hardcore for me though.

I would have voted Batman but as I'm on holiday for the middle 2 weeks of October I'll miss the launch and when I get back it'll be something else that is due out that will grab my attention.

Too many games this year so I'm going to wait on Batman. Dark Souls is already ordered though. Was showing a mate what Demon's Souls was like the other day and I had to pull myself away from playing it again.
