Im going to Florida in the early hours of tomorrow morning and have 9hr flight, what i would like to know is what the maximum amount of time i will get out of a full charge? The Wifi will obviously off and i will be playing mix of 3DS games aswell as normal DS games, i most likely wont have the 3D effect on. So how many hours do you think i will get? Thanks in advance for your advice.

My prediction? 4 hours 12 minutes with 3D and WiFi off and brightness low. -
That all, i thought i would get 3 hours out of a full charge but with 3D on full, brightness at highest and Wifi on. With all that switched off i thought i could get at least 6-7 hours? Oh well will have to ration my time between reading, Ipad plus what ever i get out of the

The battery life is longer if you play standard DS games, I believe.Comment

The age of the battery is a variable too. If you have hammered the 3DS since launch it wouldn't hold as much charge as a new 3DS would.
- And then I remembered the lack of games on the handheld and realised no-one would have played one THAT much

My 3DS lasted 2 2.5 hour train trips on one charge, that was playing ocarina of time solidly switching the 3D on and off (though it was probably off mostly)Comment

I'll be giving it a real test shortly with the Korg DS 10 synth. Brightness low, WiFi/3D off, power save mode on, DS game inserted. Unfortunately I can't post the results before tomorrow morning.Comment
